"Alice" in black is my third "Alice" pair in as many months. I started with Mouse color, then added Denim, and now Black. No Lemon color for me, only because I do not care for the color. "Alice" will be my "at home" shoe for as long as they last. For wearing outdoors I have long had half a dozen other Arcopedico leather styles (no wovens or knitted for me, not sufficiently supportive). The differences: "Alice" sole is thinner, supple, still supportive with the gently conforming uppers, almost a slipper in disguise as a proper shoe, whereas the other styles (think Queen, and its sole) have a sturdier sole (until it starts disintegrating, which to my dismay it does), and uppers that are more structured. My one wish to Arcopedico: supply cobblers with your replacement soles, so the long-lived uppers can be renewed with the same sole instead of the [Vibram] different brand that replaced the crumbled sole of most of my old leather pairs (some cherished for their irreplaceable colors).

I suffer from three things: bunions, high arch, and plantar fasciitis. This is the only shoe that is comfortable to my feet. They are such a beautiful casual shoe. I have several pairs and use them also as a house slipper as well.
