Best and most comfortable shoes ever!I've worn these shoes for more than 25 years and they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. Even when I later developed neuropathy, plantar fasciitis, bone spurs, and arthritis in my feet, these are the most comfortable shoe I own.

Painlessness!I've owned 2 pairs of these shoes for over 10 years. The black ones go everywhere with me, but alas FINALLY AFTER 10 YEARS, must face retirement. I've worn the soles down in the same places my feet are worn down. The gray ones have been used less and are still utterly serviceable. The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Granted they're not *pretty* and I wear slacks and have still gotten the occasional double-take -- "Did she wear slippers to work?!!" -- but nothing else has ever compared in the painless shoe-wearing department, not even Birks.

i SO love these shoes!They're ideal footwear for me. They're superlight, airy and supple. They manage to look elegant too, even though I wear a size 12 en they're so flat. I can wade through water, climb hills and stroll in town on them. Absolutely perfect!

AustriaI have had these slippers for over 20 years!!! I have always had navy but that color is no longer available so I got the turquoise and LOVE he color!! However, the insert is now removable which is wasn't previously. I don't like it because you can't slip these off anymore as the insert will lift which is annoying. That's why I gave a 4* instead of 5.

Best shoes ever!!I own 5 pairs of these shoes. Anyone with neuropathy or foot pain needing a stretchy top for comfort or the softest leather should get these. The firm support on the bottom is wonderful. I love them!!

A little loose around the upper footI've always loved these shoes and have been wearing them for 30 years. Maybe my feet have changed or the weave and/or texture of the upper shoe has, but I find them a little troublesome to keep on. They're not too big, it's just loose. I don't quite know what to do, as i've purchased 3 pair (!), and have been wearing only one up to now, which I obviously can't return. I guess I'll see how the other two fit in the house for a bit and decide.

WONDERFUL SHOES!I am so glad I got these shoes. Wanted something lightweight with good support and neat looking. I have foot and leg issues, get cramping and these relieve all of that for me. I have a pair of Arcopedicos from about 7 years ago that are more dressy. Still wear them occasionally but they are wearing out. Love these new ones! I forget I'm wearing shoes. I will be getting another pair and probably another style as well. Highly recommend!

Love these shoesI've been wearing these shoes since the early 1990's. I have them in several different colors and styles. Very comfortable. I have trouble finding shoes that fit and feel good and have given up trying to purchase anything else but these. I get complements on them all the time.

Why did they change the inner sole??I have been buying Arcopedicos for 20+ years, but when I put my latest pair on I immediately noticed a difference. The inner sole was not the same. It was quite obvious because the inner soles slid around as I walked, which never happened in the past. I compared it to my older pair and it was totally different!!! The old pairs were made with cork lined leather. This newer pair has a synthetic appearing inner sole that has a fabric backing. No cork! Because of that, it has no grip and it slides around. I am not sure if that will cause blistering or irritation when wearing for long periods. I am so disappointed. These were my go-to comfort shoes for so many years. Why, why, why did they mess around with what I once considered the most comfortable shoe ever.

Probably the world's most comfortable shoe, but...Look, when you're buying Arcopedico, you're getting quality stuff. No joke, no lie. These are comfortable shoes right out of the box and I'll always have a pair of their shoes in my closet. That being said, this particular shoe didn't do it for me. Was it comfy? You bet! Were they cute? Adorable! However, I was walking right out of them with each step I took. Yes, the size was right. But the heel area wasn't tight enough for my heel to stay inside. There's no point in a comfy shoe if you're constantly walking out of it. If you have narrow heels, this shoe might not work. So what to do? CHOOSE ANOTHER ARCOPEDICO SHOE. They've got all kinds. One's gonna work for you!

Wearing againI used to travel often, and these were the greatest. Rarely had to remove to go through security. Had them in many colors. On February 7th I had a two procedure foot surgery. About 2 weeks ago, I was told I could start wearing a shoe, I couldn't get my foot in any shoe I own. Then I found a red pair of Arcopedico's in the back of my closet. SUCCESS! Still a great shoe, but the inner sole comes out when removing the shoe, and the stitching (elastic, top front) doesn't seem as even as my old pair. But, still a great shoe!

Mr: liberate arcopedico!Arcopedico should make all its' unisex shoes - sec v, soft, es, ls, pelouche etc - available in mens' sizes! If that changes your marketing strategy - good! There is NO good reason for limiting access to these excellent shoes!!

SCI bought my first pair in 2001 and I keep re-buying. The Knit Sec V shoes are hardy, comfortable, and long-lasting. The only thing that I wish they had is a larger colour section, maybe rust, green, brown, purple, or yellow. I love colours. just about all of them. I will keep buying your shoes

DisappointedI have been a buyer if your shoes for years, specifically the one with the elastic section in the front. I have had 2 pairs of black, 1 navy and 1red. I thought I would try a different less expense model and quite honestly I am Disappointed. I was in a hurry when I put them on but if I had had time I would have taken them off and returned them. The inside of the sole is uncomfortable and they just catch my foot in the wrong places.

I have had a mixed experience with the Sec V, unfortunatelyI originally got a pair of Sec V's in white, and while I did notice that they took a couple of days to fit comfortably to my feet, I found them enjoyable and easy to wear. So I bought a second pair in black. And, unfortunately, I am not having the same experience with these shoes. I bought them in the exact same size, but I am having sooooo much trouble getting them to stay on my feet. I have to adopt a funny walk to keep the heel from sliding off at every step, and inevitably I just give up and wear them like a pair of slippers or mules, with my heel on top of the back on the shoe. So I would have to recommend that anyone interested in buying these shoes either to try to find them in a store first, to see if they'll fit your feet well, or if they order them on the internet to wear them around their house for several days first. Unfortunately I have already worn them outside and wouldn't feel comfortable trying to return them.
